After realising the lack of photos he had of Lilly on his new phone Steve quickly chooses his favourite picture and nervously hands his phone over to his mother. ‘Aw, she’s gorgeous!’ His mother smiled. ‘How’d you meet?’ Distracted by his mother’s ability to navigate the zoom feature with such ease Steve forgets to answer. ‘Well?’ his mother asked. Steve looks at the broken hand of his budget watch and pretends to read the time. Then with confidence replies, ‘last Tuesday around four'.
