A TEENAGE OPERA - Vicki

A Teenage Opera, was a long lost and unfinished project of the 60's when it came to life for the first time in fifty years in A Teenage Opera (the musical). It was kept in a form as near to Keith West's and Mark Wirtz original concept and was re-created in conjunction with the original producer Mark Wirtz. The original score was adapted for stage by Pete Gallagher, under the Musical Direction of Joe Louis Robertson. Youth Musical Theatre UK (now British Youth Music Theatre) performed the world premier of the musical in 2017, in front of Mark Wirtz the original composer, who flew in to help with the musicals creation. The cast performed songs from the original soundtrack, including the 1960's hits Grocer Jack and Sam.
